I LIKED this but I didn't love it. At times it gave me flashbacks to Celeste and Jesse (a wrenching movie in my opinion). I really liked Lister-Jones when she was alone, I LOVED the song she sings solo, but I don't think she and Adam Pally had that much chemistry and I wonder if the film would have been better served…

I LOVED these movies when I first saw them in the early aughts. They are still totally worth a re-watch to me. I swooned over Matt Damon, they were just action-y and violence-y enough to put me on edge, and there was even a minimal romance! (Plus the did they or didn't they with Julia Stiles) Dang good movies.

yea im on episode 6. i hated the pilot but didn't want to re-watch something else so I am actually not hating this. i love the scenery of marfa. can't imagine any reason for a second season and pretty much all the characters suck. but it does do a good job of depicting the academic, artist, full of themselves bs.
