The Get Down is wild & unbalanced, but the down-to-earth relationship between Zeke & Mylene always was the anchor. In this episode the emotional scenes were stolen straight from a telenovela and did NOT have the impact they're supposed to have.
Yes, Mike's airtime in S2 felt like an excuse to include as many BB cameos as possible.
Whereas Kim's character made S2 work.
I couldn't suspend my disbelief when half-faced Fring walked out of that room.
