That's the exact conclusion that I came to. the only logical explanation seems to be that someone inside law enforcement in the county made a risky move and controlled the crime scene and the evidence. Outside of a whistleblower or some action from inside the sheriff's dept. or an act of G-D there is no way of undoing

Just finished bingeing on the series. I often had the urge to stop watching but it was so compelling I couldn't. I am most disturbed by two things: #1 The "system" is the wrong kind of blind. It prefers to find a person to be guilty rather than to find the guilty person which leads to disturbing thing #2 it ignores
