I enjoy reading your opinions. What did you think of the episode as a whole?

It wasn't a drunken pressing of lips from Sheldon's side. He was sober and according to the writers and producers, that was Sheldon's first real kiss.

It was in episode 4x21 where Amy kissed Sheldon on the mouth and Sheldon responded to the kiss saying it was "Fascinating." I remember that scene cause Jim Parsons won an Emmy for that episode and the whole fandom was going crazy. But the kiss was well-received by the public, surprisingly so at that time.

Finally kissing? You know they've kissed already, right? - And that kiss was received well by the audience.
This is Amy's fantasy so obviously things are more exaggerated - I'm more frustrated than anything cause it's about time they move Sheldon/Amy forward in their relationship.

Showing off women's cleavage/sexualizing female characters in a comedy is not uncommon. If I recall, Community try to do the same thing with Annie but in a mocking way… Regardless, the fanboys loved it and populated the internet with tons of Alison Brie gifs.
