I saw it in L.A. I thought it was hilarious. If it's not your sense of humor, who cares? Move along.

It was funny because of his haircut and his flamboyant mannerisms and voice.
I wonder this every week, along with how the women in Girls are surviving with no apparent jobs. It's a mystery.
That was pretty confusing to me, too.
Can someone explain to me why there was glass in Perry's neck if he was just pushed?
The clicking in the beginning was the sound of Celeste's boys playing video games. Excellent episode.
I was so sure someone was going to be hiding in the house. The way the camera lingered on the room at the very end!
Really A.V. club? shall we get our pitchforks hot and ready? this is an unnecessary attempt at trolling and drumming up more hatred for a single person. Love may be polarizing but she has also inspired a lot of girls and gave us some great albums. And lived through a suicide.
How generous and thoughtful of you to take the time to share your insightful comment about someone you supposedly don't care about! Nice move playing it off as indifference while also declaring your red-blooded, domineering desire to jerk it to airbrushed women you don't know! You even found the time to tell us what…
I, too, wonder if Ryan Murphy has ever talked to a real-life woman, even despite the satirical nature of the show. It makes it funnier if it's at least vaguely rooted in reality. Also, the necrophilia and bestiality references are dark and cynical, clearly used for shock value. Plus I'm getting tired of the "bitches,…
Who the fuck cares what a comedian wears during a comedy special?
Did you really just refer to her as a "lady comic" in the first sentence? Is Louis C.K. a "man comic"? Wow.
Oh sure, I'll just ignore that 50% of the human population is degraded and vilified on a daily basis. Seems like a smart tactic.
Don't feed the trolls.
Interesting how you point out the homophobia but never mention the misogyny. Are we that numb to it now?
I think the difference is that with Mad Men, there's a balance. We also get to see someone (Don Draper) doing his job excellently, while screwing up in his personal life. Equally so for "Breaking Bad." No one in "Girls" excels in anything except making bad decisions. It gets tiring to watch.
Anyone else surprised that Liz is only 29?! As a 29-year-old, I'm extremely impressed with her Adult-Ness. That being said, Liz and I may be the same age but she has a much more conventional plan for her future. The fact of the matter is, it is tougher for women to date since we have that annoying biological clock (if…
Yeah, I felt as though three were out of character: first off, this revelation about Hannah's dad (Alien Jesus said it best), Marnie actually accepting Desi's proposal despite acknowledging his stupidity in a previous episode, and Shoshanna, a normally smart person who has dated men before, being ignorant enough to…
Because teaching in itself is something you have to uh, LEARN how to do. Content knowledge is one thing, but a person has to learn how to actually teach. It's an actual practice. Despite what you think, there is a rigorous and in-depth training for education majors, where pedagogy and practices are studied and…
