How about a head pickled in a glass vat?

Don't forget the live vivisection performed on him by Dr Gideon. If Hannibal doesn't get picked up there could be a spinoff here. How about calling it" why aren't you dead Fred"?

Yeah. For the first time on Hannibal ( and we all know this show pushes the limits to put it mildly) I found that scene profoundly disturbing and very very sad. There's scene in season two where a woman was enwombed in a horse but that was actually done out of love. This was an act of pure evil and sadism. How

    This damn show!!!!

    It would definitely be Hannagraham.

It's a version of the aria from Bach's Goldberg variations. The same music played on the piano during the closing credits. It just happens to be played synthetically at an extremely distorted tempo.

the realtors? 4 bodies and river of blood. what about the poor cleaning woman. I can see her coming in and saying "damn it. Not again"

The stag is the public face of Hannibal. His "finely tailored person suit" as Belila Du Maurier calls it. The Windego (the man with antlers) is his true self; a monster, and a cannibal. The death of the stag represents the death of Hannibal as a friend to Will. They will be enemies forever now.

I forgot she's going to need a new ear and a hearing aid too

Poor Abigail. That girl has the worst luck in parents/guardians ever. First her Dad cuts her throat, then Will goes crazy, then Hannibal cuts it again. She's gonna need a bigger scarf for her throat next season if she lives.

Not really, you saw Hannibal switch of the lights and then gunshots. Will strangled her in his mind during one of his reenactments though.

This really was the first episode where we actually see Hannibal for what he is. A merciless sadist. Every other murder except for Mason Verger who was repulsive but fun (I know he's not technically dead), Franklin (painless), and Tobias Bulge(self defense) was not shown. The victims were already dead. This is

wow wow wow, and wowness beyond wow. That hour passed in 5 minutes for me. This show is stunningly good.

I had to laugh at the use of the Mahler Symphony # 5 during the whole pretend to eat Freddy Lounds dinner two episodes ago. Hannibal was really putting the moves on Will there.

Wasn't it nice of Hannibal and Will to make sure that those crazy Verger Kids started to get along again? Wasn't that what Mason and Margot wanted when they went to Hannibal in the first place?

    Hannibal to Will

notice that Will left Randall on the dining room table. All that's left for Will's "therapy" is to learn how to cook French cuisine.

His career ? Think what this will do to Jack's love of French cuisine.
