Interesting thought. My observation was that Jenna Coleman seemed to have lost a lot of weight very quickly. I also noticed the outfit and that he seemed to have gotten a haircut.

As exits go:
Nope. But then, we also have no idea how eleven rescued her from inside his own damn timeline after she had jumped into it, or why eleven wasn't "splintered" like Clara was, or why the war doctor doesn't remember him in DotD after seeing him in NotD… Or basically ANYTHING about the giant clusterfuck of a plot that was…
Sandifer thinks so.
See, I felt the opposite. I thought "death in heaven" was a perfect ending for Clara, just like "the God complex" was a perfect ending for the ponds. One thing I'll give Davies credit for, he understood companions were meant to be secondary characters and didn't let any of them stick around too long (except rose). I'm…
Agreed on all of the above. And if you didn't already pick up on the Clara swap, she just had to stop of at her apartment to get some things. And then work a Zygon control panel.
For me, "mummy" was the moment where he clicked over from Greg house to the doctor. A pity, I really enjoyed "the doctor as house" thing they had going on.
It was where the uprising started, but I also felt they didn't make its relevancy clear enough. Felt like "part one filler". Also, your going to send the head of UNIT to the states without a single solitary escort? Why did the doctor get lb the plane again? Good episode overall but plenty of things didn't make sense.
I'll sheepishly admit I had the same theory about eleven, based on the color of his bow tie. With no internet input at all, I'm proud/chagrined to say.
Agree that eight is trumping nine for me so far. I liked Capaldi with an edge, and watching him grow slowly warmer. Nine is mostly good but frustrating in how close it comes to being amazing, only to fall barely short.
That's fortunate, because you have nothing to defend! :)
Imho:
Series five
Series eight
Series four
Series nine (so far)
Series six
Series three
Series one
Series two
Series seven
For me, it's still "mummy".
Correct. The human Osgood died in death in heaven. And if the doctor wasn't just being flip about there having been fifteen previous iterations of this conflict, there may have been fifteen previous Osgoods as well. That's another reason she'll never tell, because they're supposed to represent both races but can only…
Good episode overall for me.
Ta!
Last thirty seconds of "girl who waited"…
This is embarrassingly close to what you'd call an online community. The regulars, to me, are only slightly less worthy of consideration and esteem than Alistair (sp). And if you think his reviews are wordy, never EVER listen to his awesome podcast, debating doctor who.
Don't worry, they were cremated.
Ah, you're counting the specials as part of the season? For me, season seven went like this: asylum (mostly good), dinosaurs (meh), mercy (ugh), cubes (bad), angels (kinda good), bells(mostly good), akhaten (ugh), hide (kinda good), cold war (meh), crimson (mostly good), silver (bad), name (awful).
