Didn't one of those notes say "three months"?

(Deleted, brain fart)
Agreed that all seasons have some clunkers. The earlier seasons had more episodes, though, so a few clunkers threw a season off less. When I think of how the flesh two parter completely wasted a third of an entire year's worth of the show due to the split season, I am filed with a gibbering, inchoate rage.
I agree.
Perhaps unsurprisingly for someone posting on an A/V club forum about doctor who, I actually have a very good understanding about how hard drives work. I'm not sure the show does, at least in this case.
Nick frost saying "she's not ok" means he will find out. Probably in just enough time to change his wish. Because Santa only grants one wish.
I do, but I'm just citing what the episode said. After all, if the nether sphere were exhibiting truly hard drive like behavior, why would they need that many consciousnesses at all? Wouldn't they just need one?
Was I the only one desperately hoping for the return of the Tissue Commission Eliminator?
I call it "ponds syndrome". They never should have appeared after the God complex. It's one of the reasons I find series seven to be a 90% waste
AMEN. those episodes were AWFUL.
It emptied when the cyber zombies rose.
As Davidcgc noted, the unit subplot did feel wasteful, until missy also offered the doctor an army, and he rejected both of them. That could have been driven home a bit more.
Didn't one of her post it notes say "three months" or something?
They were cremated.
Five was amazing. Six was wildly uneven - high highs and terrible lows. Seven, all of it, was a complete waste of talent that wad painful to watch.
Calling it now, his wish will be to bring Danny back.
Another repeat? Moffat invented the silence in series six. They barely appeared in series seven. So far they haven't shown up in series eight.
I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but they do one dalek story per season because they lose the rights if they don't. Which season has had more than one dalek story?
I was hoping for Li-Hsen Chang, back to redeem the show from the yellowface and racism of what was otherwise an excellent episode.
Agreed. I thunk it's high time for the return of judiciously used two parters. I really liked how we finally had an important Moffat episode that wasn't people talking a million miles a minute.
