Ahh, missed Transparent, Review, and Unreal (which I don't agree with). Also completely forgot about Show Me a Hero, which is definitely Top 5 for me.

Glad I have so much of it left to enjoy!
Definitely, I'm only at S2 of Justified but I saw it getting big praise for it's final season. I suspect it will be on there too. Also, "Manhattan" is a likely contender. I have a feeling it will come down to whether or not they want to give voice to newer shows or remember the veterans.
Pt2 prediction:
Agreed.
Yes it is! The AMC Pacific Place 11 tickets are live right now. I called Lincoln Square in Bellevue, and they said they're testing the 70mm camera and will release the tickets next week if everything goes smoothly. I just bought mine for Pacific Place but prefer the Lincoln Imax screen, so may refund it when they…
I've heard the two films actually have similar vibes (apart from the snow). Russell's line in the trailer, "one of these fellas is not what he says he is," is pretty telling.
Hey were you able to see the showtimes / checkout for Lincoln Square or Pacific place? Neither are listing showtimes..
You reallllllly don't know the characters like you think you do. They all went through so much during S1. Glad you liked it but.
Very true.
Alien symbols engraved in the wood beams above the racist bar.
Try on The Leftovers for size too!
A++. Captivated the whole episode. This show has some excellent cinematography too, the way they use out of focus lights in the background. Loved the neon lighting in the honkey tonk scene. I used to not-love the extremely tight focus on faces, but now I feel it is essential to the emotional element of the show.…
The Jewish fable in S1 was pretty overt. Also, I've heard Lou say something along the lines of "these are serious men" once or twice this season.
Ha! Nice one Pear! Loving the deadpan.
Awesome!!! Enjoy, and be on the look out for his new one.
I just saw him in conversation with David Shields and he read from his (almost finished) new book. About surgery. Much more visceral / bodily than his other work, Really funny too.
Sirens of Titan is my favorite!!!! PS, can I send you my Chronic City essay haha.. have never met another fan.
I'm a big fan of Sirens of Titan, also underrated.
The Knick, Fargo. You will be happy.
