Also been on a daily search, let me know if you stumble on anything. Most VoD sources list that it's available on iTunes, but it is still listed as a pre-order. Seems like it's only on Time Warner at the moment, with no rips.
Agreed.
Yo this is pretty old but how does one go about seeing Summerfield? Looks really interesting but is scarce on the internet.
Apparently this image is in the Natgeo given to Kevin from his dad: http://guiltyremnantpodcast…
It is looking like a good showdown.
Well said, tone is definitely a win here. I think if the conclusion satisfies, I'm ok with a slow reveal.
Ep. 2 is up on BBC America's site. definitely expands in what I think is a satisfying direction. The pilot needed to narrow its focus a bit, and ep. 2 does.
Ep. 2 is up on BBC America's website already. B+ from me. If the conclusion is satisfying, I'm ok with the pacing and lack of immediate "clues".
I've heard the books have a bit of satire right? There are attempts on the show, but they don't really work in the bleak atmosphere.
Does Hannibal use deer imagery as well? Top of the Lake had a bit too.
I think she's referring to the supernatural / "anti-miracle" aspect of it. Something so profound (out least to the GR) that you have to change your "normal" way of living and outlook.
Yup.
But a much better written character. There are definitely times where I have sympathy for him, not for his actions but for his close mined-ness and inability to change. It's a really interesting contrast to Daniel's philosophy.
There was also the scene where a truckload of them was crashed on the side of the road.
I really liked the juxtaposition of Jill walking to the dog with a knife and then letting it go with Kevin walking up to Patti. Both times with the potential to kill or set them free.
Remember in Episode 02 (I think) Garvey Sr. says something like "They've sent someone to help." This has got to confirm him as the "help" from the voices.
I notice two deer painted on the wall of the cabin… significant, or more throwaway True Detective rip off imagery like in the pilot?
