I like the understated evolution of Jess and Coach. First season she was afraid of him. Then she bent over backwards to try to please him by pretending to have common interests (Basketsball). Now he works with—maybe even for—Jess. He both respects her and wants her to be happy. Not spelled out overtly, it's just

He also embodies the idea that competent people don't need a lot of middle management supervision because his branch is successful even though he is not much more than a distraction when he is around.

I think he just has an attractive, crooked smile. Give it a chance. Everyone isn't a hipster/poser just because they are good looking and young and elevated to a position that seems like it came out of nowhere. And I realize that as an isolated comment that appears to stink of sarcastic irony, but I am being

Johnny Carson invented staring down the audience when a joke fell flat.

He is leaving that character behind. There won't be anything to impersonate.

In other words, avoid stinking matches with skunks? Couldn't agree more.

You guys are being idiots. She did that on purpose. She isn't that girl, but she knows you fear that girl.

She takes everything seriously, but sometimes the material works better than other times. She does a great talk me off the ledge, that's for sure.

Leslie and Ben made two trips to Europe. Either Ben already benefits from his parents' money or Indiana pays government employees a whole lot more than other states.

I'm gonna rise up, I'm gonna kick a little ass, Gonna kick some ass in
the USA, Gonna climb a mountain, Gonna sew a flag, Gonna fly on an
Eagle, I'm gonna kick some butt, I'm gonna drive a big truck, I'm gonna
rule this world, Gonna kick some ass, Gonna rise up, Kick a little ass,
ROCK, FLAG AND EAGLE!

Observations from a teacher: Bullying is often as detrimental to the bully than the person being bullied. It exacerbates baser characteristics. I think that is where P&R has turned a corner with the treatment of Larry lately. Sure, they used to tease him more than the others, but now the meanness coming out of
