I think everyone who watched the show pretty much agrees that the time jump was the right move. I genuinely liked Seasons 5 and 6. The last three had their moments but…yeah. You can only have so many psycho stalkers and huge car crashes in one show.

I really, really enjoyed this episode! I loved the stuff with Abby right up until the end. It's not that I minded Leo taking care of the Chip situation, but isn't this the first time we've seen him do something halfway decent? They could have let that build for another episode or two.
I grew up in conservative Southern Baptist churches and that…doesn't happen very often. I know of one couple who's engaged and is saving their first kiss for marriage. I think it's a more than a little silly and definitely legalistic if someone tries to insist that people should do that.
I've enjoyed the show so far and I was excited for this season, but I don't see myself watching it.
The bribery in exchange for physical touch, the way she described delighting in giving her sister bad news, and the masturbating in bed next to her goes way beyond normal childhood curiosity. This went on for years, apparently, well after the incident when she was 7. I don't think she's a sexual predator, but what…
Two songs that she wrote when she was a teenager hardly qualifies as consistent in the first place, but she's talked about how she wrote those from an immature perspective. The way people still rage about them when she's clearly evolved is weird to me.
I'm really glad to see that the casting for this is more diverse. I would generally jump at the chance to see something that both Aaron Paul and Christian Bale are involved in, but the whitewashing bothers me tremendously.
The Beach Boys is one of the very few musical preferences my dad and I have in common, so I got him Sounds of Summer for Fathers' Day a few years ago. I think it's pretty comprehensive; it has a couple of surfer songs, but there's also a wide variety of their other hits.
I'm actually a pretty big John Mayer fan, but this song is definitely not a favorite and the line "one pair of candy lips and your bubblegum tongue" has grossed me out from the first time I heard it.
It doesn't take much for me to cry at movies or television, as I'm sure some of my friends could attest to, so I usually try to reserve the most emotionally gut-wrenching stuff to watch by myself. The last time I remember losing it in public was when I went with some friends to see The Fault in Our Stars this past…
I'll miss Shirley being on the show, but of course I understand Brown's decision and wish her and her family the best. Fingers crossed that she'll be able to return as a guest star for some episodes.
I liked Dean in the first season. He treated Rory well and respected Lorelai, but he wasn't a good match for Rory intellectually. He was also always just a tad too possessive and jealous. The comparison to Riley is pretty apt: nice, but that's literally the only thing he has going for him and that's not enough in…
My friend and I laughed out loud at Rumple's snap magic. It was definitely a little goofy.
After having a few months to get over it, I've come to appreciate what they were trying to do with the ending. It was still executed terribly, though.
I still love Maroon 5's Songs About Jane album. Nothing they've put out since has come even remotely close.
I totally forgot about how excited I was for Coven. Hopefully Freak Show won't be so disappointing.
I have a soft spot for Season 1 myself. "Prophecy Girl" is great, as are "Nightmares" and "Angel." Even some of the lesser episodes are still entertaining; in fact, the only one I flat-out dislike is the internet demon one.
I was born in 1990, so I grew up watching Williams' family fare and would later come to appreciate some of his other roles. I think part of why his death is hitting me so hard is that I can't remember a time when I didn't know who he was. My own experiences with depression and that he always came across as a…
I ended up liking The Crazy Ones a lot better than I thought I would after watching the pilot. It had a talented—probably underrated—cast and could be both funny and touching.
I've been thinking about watching this for a while; I'll give it a shot after I'm through watching Gilmore Girls for the first time.
