Once again, I'm pretty pleased with the drama categories while disappointed that comedies I actually watch get little to no recognition (save OitNB). I don't understand why The Big Bang Theory and Modern Family continue to receive so much praise.

Either Hamm, Cranston, or McConaughey could win and it would be well-deserved. My guess is that Hamm has one more opportunity after this year and the other two don't, so it will be given to one of them.
"Hush" got a writing nom and that's it.
Season 2 is my least favorite, but it still had its moments! I wouldn't skip it in a re-watch.
I had that spoiled for me too because I got on Facebook and someone had written "RIP [character name]" a few minutes after it aired. Granted, I didn't care about this character all that much and it didn't ruin the episode for me at all.
Yes. I personally try to be courteous and not spoil things for people who haven't seen them yet, but the amount of butt-hurt that comes from people who could have avoided being spoiled by simply staying off of Twitter for a couple of hours is ridiculous.
If I happen to miss an episode of a show I'm watching, I just stay off of social media until I can see it. If it's more important for me to not know, I take precautions on my own without expecting others to cater to my schedule. I remember the anti-spoiler crowd being particularly annoying about the Breaking Bad…
I relate to Alisdair's answer so much. My mom is one of those people. I love her, but she always asks so many questions…even for stuff that neither of us has seen.
I also hate being stuck behind tall people at concerts. And the Scandal scene transitions are just terrible.
I was going to say something similar. No, everyone does not resort to racist and homophobic slurs when they're drunk or angry.
I do wonder if there was someone who had seen Breaking Bad AND more than two episodes of Girls.
Yeah, "Cooperative Polygraphy" was my favorite episode from the last season, but "Ozymandias" deserves to win.
I wish "Waterloo" was in there instead of "The Strategy," myself.
There are a couple of inspiring quotes regarding hard work to be gleamed from it; that's all, though.
Sure, but that doesn't excuse the fact that Rand justified their deaths for all sorts of petty reasons. Even at the height of my right-libertarian phase, I saw how disgusting that was.
I actually read Atlas Shrugged and there is a chapter where a train full of people are going to die and she explains how it's 'just' because they bought into a system she despises. Truly ridiculous stuff.
I don't think anyone who has watched both shows can fault you for that opinion at all. "The Secret Fate of All Life" was my favorite episode from this first season.
I love both episodes and either one of them is better than what the winner will go up against, but "Ozymandias" is just on another level.
The conversation that Spike and Giles had about Spike not wanting to miss "Passions." Classic.
Lil' Sebastian and Gene Parmesan. Pretty much all of the running gags from Arrested Development, really
Yeah, I never for a moment thought they were worried about Matt raping her. Tami even says that she just doesn't want Julie to sleep with someone before she's ready or for the wrong reasons. She's only 15 and this is her first real relationship. That conversation and a similar one in Season 3 are two of my favorite…
