I noticed that too. I hope we see more of her in the third season.

To me, Brook isn't that funny of a character, but everyone's reactions to her are funny. I wish that she had been fleshed out a little more.

Now that you've mentioned this, I am terrified of it actually happening.

I don't think that would happen given what Obama and others in his administration have said on the matter, but one can hope.

That would have been amazing.

I knew that Oberyn would be the one to go when he started insisting that The Mountain confess. He was just as caught up in the theatrics of exacting revenge as he was actually carrying it out. I was yelling at my TV for him to just go ahead and kill him already, but of course he didn't and of course he paid for it.

The Darjeeling Limited picks up after the first few minutes, at least I thought so. The one Anderson film I haven't been able to finish (out of the ones I've seen, anyway) was The Life Aquatic.

I don't know if this counts because I haven't even tried to watch it, but i feel like I couldn't watch Hannibal, which makes me sad because I'm sure it's good. Also, watching The Newsroom's first two seasons was a chore for me. I'm a journalism major and was told I would "definitely love it." Nope.

I liked it too. It was a bit jarring and slow-moving at first, but I thought it got better and better with each episode.

"Harry Crane has the worst luck, and I never feel sorry for him."

I'd only seen "Cooperative Polography," "The Lion and the Rose," and "The Strategy." Went with the first one, although none of those episodes are the best of their respective shows.

Who is The Worst Boyfriend, for future reference? I'm only on Season 1 although I've seen a couple of the later episodes.

I have a couple of good friends who have been trying to get me to watch Gilmore Girls for YEARS and I started watching it last week. Needless to say, it's so great and I'm hooked.

The Avett Brothers and/or Friday Night Lights

I agree. I love both shows and I don't understand why there has to be constant bashing of one in defense of the other. Dumb.

But that would make too much sense!

I kind of, sort of liked some of what she had to say when I was going through a right-libertarian phase. Then I read Atlas Shrugged, actually made it through because that's just how I am about books, and haven't been able to stand her ever since. It was just so inhuman.

I don't think that there's any one thing that would be a pop culture dealbreaker for me if someone simply *liked* it. There are, however, a few things I would be really wary of someone saying was their *favorite* [insert type of pop culture here].

I thought that was odd, too. It's a sweet film, but goodness is it terrible in every other aspect.

I share your feelings about the moon door. I don't care much for creepy little Robin, but I was very nervous about him falling for a minute there.
