Yeah, you're right. I think BTI is still the standard-bearer for him because it's so sonically interesting and go-everywhere-do-everything, and let's not forget how much fun Camp was too ("Bonfire," the fantastic "Heartbeat," still perhaps his best standalone song, not lacking in emotion or writing with its earnest

This is a good album but it's one of those good albums you listen to once and then never again so long as you live.

I liked "Zombries" until I read Ross Scarano's review that the voice being used is in "Zombries" is Count Chocula's, and then I liked "Zombries" no more.

I was not familiar with the Law of Economy of Characters, but I am now, and I see how true it is, so thank you for introducing me to it.

Anyone else out-and-out dislike Sea Change like I do? I've tried to get into it three times since '01, once right after a painful breakup, and nothing. (I like every other record from him.)

Re: Nussbaum. A good rule is not to trust any analysis that boils down to "This show isn't stupid enough."

Yes! I just recently discovered this song myself. It is incredible.

The word you're looking for, Zack, is "augur."

I'd like to be there the moment Ignatiy decided to pull out his stopwatch.

Thanks for introducing me to this, Erik! Man, is it good!

Solid album overall, but it has the confidence to put the best songs last. I admire artists who do that.

To answer your first question, Yes. And that's okay.

That's one way to spell "ramen."

Yeah, I like the show, and Peretti's line about the leotards being right there with you no matter what you eat caught me. But this one seemed to be a lot of ideas that were, well, unamusing ideas. Scully/Kelly—okay, that's some banter, but it's not funny. Terry at home with his girls is sincerely cute, yes, but it's

Anyone else feel this was far and away the weakest episode of the lot?
