I hope so! I just hope the ratings don't go down for The Middle or your show now that they're split. Wish they didn't do it :(

The Middle is one of ABC's highest rated shows so I hope it keeps it up and gets to Season 9

They ended it like that last season too. The Goldbergs in recent weeks has been ABC's #2 comedy and #3 show overall, and hasn't been in danger since its first season when it had to air on Tuesday.

Well, if they didn't lose The Janitor The Middle wouldn't be the same, so I'm good with that lol

Maybe. To me though The Middle and The Goldbergs were a match made in heaven. They just flow too well together to be broken up to me.

Well, goodbye joint Middle/Goldbergs reviews, you were fun while you lasted and you deserved to have gotten another year together. Possibly the most compatible duo on television, gone. May you one day meet again. The Goldbergs just isn't the same without The Middle. :(

Because Beck Bennett is way more valuable in the sketches and digital shorts than Colin Jost would be if they swapped roles.

lol you must not live in an area then where it gets dark at 4pm in the winter. Get rid of Standard Time, not Daylight Saving Time

It could have been better if the Kids Choice Awards one was on later (or not at all). Being on so early in the night it was already written off in my mind to be a bad episode.

Well whatever they have in mind I hope it doesn't break apart your show and The Middle! It was very convenient to read both reviews in one article for the past year and a half haha. I was just writing yesterday about how time flies where you've already been renewed for a fourth season.
