Only if you remember the days when the show was a lot better than just pretty good.

They are not far from getting to that level.
It is relatively amazing to see that viewers who might have followed (or have they?) both these shows from the start can't perceive their steadfast descent into mediocrity.

You are just stuck with memories of the first few seasons where the show was actually funny and original and have some hope that it could rise back up to that level. This episode felt like a rerun of a lame episode, Sheldon finds sex repulsive, that's hilarious, I never saw it coming. Leonard and Penny have a mini

I'm with you there. For some reason this is the first episode of OUAT that I enjoyed in a long time, this whole Pan thing really bored me to tears. I doubt my interest will be long lasting but based on how others show are rated I would have thought a B+ at the very least. I watch Agents of Shield and I have no idea

It would be a fallacy if had been said like that for sure.

You hit it on the nail, some people don't like him and that's synonymous with open mindedness. If only people admitted to having personal tastes and not pretend they are high minded virtues.

And this follow up question thing was used in the opening monologue and the first sketch, drawing extra unneeded attention to the obvious same writer involved in both.

A reaction like: Wow people are getting paid produce this???

The scandal parody was funny how? The writing this season is the worst, even the car sketch, the only thing somewhat amusing last night was ruined by that pointless line of exposition (just because the court didn't, bla bla bla). How does justifying this act make it any funnier? It just ruined the visual moment. This

Maybe your boss would know who to ask? Bosses always surround themselves with yes men.

And getting nailed… on a cross… too soon?

No disagreement there, it is just not quite at the "great" level. But he is really good. It's just a matter as to whether or not you are grading on a curve.

You don't think there is more to it?
Ok then.

I agree entirely about when the wheels fell off. It's been a bit of a pain watching the last couple of seasons. My wife can't believe I am still watching this stuff… in my defense there is nothing else on Mondays at 8pm. The reality is part of the problem the rest is that the characters are now dumbed down caricatures

Rock world: Hendrix, Page, Van Halen. I'd give honorable mention to Steve Howe in the 70s.
Other styles: Eric Johnson, Path Metheny.
I am probably forgetting a bunch but these are great, May is very good but not great.

Sure he has a specific sound, in a sense that'a detriment as far as I am concerned. Jimmy Page had a gazillion different sounds and styles. Acoustically he had also diverse things he would do with world music undertones. Brian May plays fairly straight rock riffs, standard solos. He does this competently but he

Look, he is pretty good. Still he's style is fairly standard, nothing that original about it and the band went so much in the synth direction that his guitar playing became irrelevant.

Which part of "great singer" confused you? Brian May is a fine guitarist but very unoriginal in his style. Not sure why Clapton's opinion would matter, he is probably the most over-rated guitarist in the history of the instrument.

Deep Purple is not already in the RRHOF? I guess Stanley might have a point about the elitist bs.

Let's not over do it, Queen had a very average bass player and drummer. Van Halen had sub par bassist. Gene Simmons played his instrument just as well. I've never heard Queen described as great musicians. They had a great singer and pretty good guitarist, that was that. Sometimes the whole is greater than the sum of
