This is a genuine Halloween classic and has been needlessly buried. It eludes me as to why this is not an annual staple but it's not. I think it's a charming and wonderful piece of nostalgia that can still be very moving.

Walter hill's take on THE WILD BUNCH. That is a must-see action film. Maybe they can mention it when Powers Boothe is given a Random Roles?
This made me very happy to see this. This was a terrific sequel and what a cast! It's a wonderful pick for this month's Halloween viewing.
That's another reason why this is SO redundant!
Or my favorite, "Daemon."
Blacula was much better than it had any right to be. William Marshall was so good in the title role.
They seem to forget that what made the Marvel Universe work is because it's the characters as they were originally represented and how people wanted to see them. Why can't they understand that with the monsters? It's bizarre.
Death Proof is very blatantly about female empowerment. It's so loud it's almost at satirical levels!
God bless you, sir or whatever existential metaphor you were seeking out.
That's a wonderful collection of stories. Check it out Frankenstein fans.
It's kinda sad that the "screenwriter" actually seems to think this was an original idea. That show actually handled it pretty well! Then again, it was also treated as a "horror" show and not action/adventure bullshit for the lowest common denominator.
Yeah, they did this 30 years ago and it sucked then. Tell a story and not an agenda. The monsters deserve better than this nonsense.
I would have included The Thing(1982.) That opening is terrific.
You avatar reminds me that "Curse of the Demon" should have been on the list.
That was a bizarre list. So many disposable modern horror films(Final Destination 3?) and almost no classic horror films. Great opening scenes? Where's The Mummy(1932)? Frankenstein(1931,) Dracula(1931,) Murders in the Rue Morgue(1932,) Murders in the Zoo(1933,) The Cat And The Canary(1927) etc. There's also no Hammer…
Jeffery Dean Morgan made this. He portrays such an entertaining psychopath that it actually distracts from the lazy writing and I hope he hangs out a bit.
They should have mentioned Spontaneous Combustion.
This is pretty cool news.
The same thing happened to Jim Hopper…
Didn't they already do this with the second one and didn't that suck royally?
