This is less a case of income inequality and more "we not paying a middling draw/talent the same as the two biggest standup comedians not named Seinfeld."

I apologize - I was making a friendly joke about my dislike of Trump, but upon re-reading it comes off as me trying to score a point. Not my intent.

Good question, not my wheelhouse so I'm not sure, written statements would seem more likely. Also not sure why Debora(h) didn't get some time herself.

I looked it up - the federal statute re bank robbery says "financial institutions or post office", so you're right, it's the same thing.

Trump created Reddit? Man, how much more can I detest that guy?

That would be a fair point, except that they showed a trial / sentencing, not the entry of a plea deal, no? Not sure which prosecutor would engage in plea negotiations after winning at trial.

And I forgot - no parole under the federal criminal laws anymore, just time off for good behavior. No more than 54 days per year of sentencing, though.

I'm not sure where you get that I'm upset. I'M NOT UPSET, GODDAMMIT. Seriously though, it's possible to loathe Trump, think this meme-creator is a douche, and still think that the whole "we'll keep his identity quiet conditioned on him being good" seems like a really weird / petty way for a major news network to

CNN hunted him down was because he made an anti-CNN GIF, not because he's a dickbag (though he's clearly that, too). It's hard for me to see that as something other than thin-skinned behavior. That said, I'm all for greater civility on the internet, and for people being subject to ramifications when they act

Loved the movie, too. Agree with your view. That said, it only makes Hollywood sense, since anyone busted for bank robbery, felony murder, etc., wouldn't be out in less than a couple of decades' time. Federal judges don't have too much discretion these days.

Trump: I'm petty, obsessed with trivial slights, and ready to wildly overreact to random postings on the internet, up to the point of threatening livelihoods and careers.

Looking forward to this game - TNO was an excellent single player shooter and shooting Nazis is always a delight. That said:

I enjoy Idris Elba's performance as Luther; however: (1) the best part of the show was always Alice Morgan; and (2) the show is so often very cringeworthy. It was difficult watching the later seasons without being afflicted a couple times per episode by a serious case of fremdschämen.

I'll have to take your word for it, as I only saw people in subjugator / colonial dress. Some of us don't see skin color. And by "us" I mean enlightened, non-racist people.

How -dare- you question my sincerity. I haven't been this angry since I discovered that The China Syndrome starred only low-BMI white people. I note that many others share my disappointment:

A movie about the Orient (a deeply problematic term itself) with nothing but white people? I think I'll pass on watching yet another example of Hollywood whitewashing.

"The Good Guys" is a fun, -fun- show. It could've aired for ten seasons and I would've watched every episode.

I'm very sorry to hear that you're frightened by Muslims, to the point where you believe that a person might be killed by one on any given day. I hope you're able to someday overcome your Islamaphobia; I presume you'll be happier once you're able to live without that ghastly prejudice and racism.

Just a couple of points:

"[N]ot accepted by most 'moderate' MUSLIMS" - OK, you've moved the goalposts -again-. And again you're just saying things without any supporting evidence - I get that this is how you feel, but it doesn't reflect reality. If 25% of Xtians thought it was OK to stone gays to death, we'd be living in Handmaid's Tale
