Hannibal did follow its own internal logic: it followed dream logic from Day 1. It was never a realistic show.

It was in an episode of Fear The Walking Dead, and an episode of Gotham the very next night. Great song, but I don't want it to become beaten to death like Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" (although it was mostly cover versions of that song that got overused).

Boom.

Mine was Phil's saying "Gotta stay hydrated" when Todd mentioned getting some cow urine.

I think those new clients were pissed at Diane for her anti-abortion case. That's the real reason they jumped at the offer.

I was especially annoyed by Diane's comment, when she was trying to hire Jefferey Dean Morgan, that they "need an investigator." You have one, Diane! At least make reference to Robyn leaving or something, like "We've needed an investigator ever since Robyn quit to join the circus!" Don't just pretend she never existed.

Better call Saul!

That was my impression as well.

Your cable system doesn't give you a broadcast network like the CW? That makes no sense! Either switch cable providers, or get yourself some rabbit ears (that's actually what I have). The CW actually has some great shows nowadays, like iZombie and the DC shows (The Flash, Arrow, and the upcoming Legends of Tomorrow).

Yeah, and speaking of Robyn: Diane was saying this week that they needed an investigator. I wanted to shout at her, "YOU HAVE ROBYN!" The least the show could've done was throw in a line of dialog like, "We've needed an investigator ever since Robyn left to (insert reason)."

Is it any weirder than knowing thousands of Simpsons quotes, as most AV Clubbers do?

And she's working at home! She really does sound like the spambots.

Dammit, he needs to get back on Supernatural, for at least one episode! They recently had an episode where Sam had a vision of his father, and they had to use the younger actor who played John Winchester from the time travel episodes. I'm sorry, if you're going to have a vision of a deceased parent, it's not going to

They've shown judges doing stuff like that before on this show.

They made reference to Noah kidnapping Tommy and testing him at PrimaTech when Tommy was a kid. Wasn't that in the original timeline? Wasn't it undone when they changed history? Why do I care enough to even ask?

Having the show being just Phil would have gotten old pretty quickly.

Ok, maybe someone mentioned this, but here goes: a few months ago, an episode of Fear The Walking Dead used Lou Reed's "Perfect Day". The very next evening, the season premiere of Gotham used "Perfect Day" as well. In the comments under the Gotham review, an AV Club commenter whsoe name I don't recall, said from now

The show seems to be saying that her Hexenbeist nature contributed to her behavior.

Permanently giving up her powers is a big something she could do, and she has said that she wants to.

Also, Joss Whedon was very firm on the fact that Spike and Buffy could never be a real couple after the almost-rape.
