To be fair it wouldn't be an X-men movie if it wasn't rushed.

So no one has been officially announced to direct this thing yet. This will turn out great.

I think there must have been more to it then just the budget. I wonder if the Wachowoski's had anything to do with the cancellation as well.

I hate how Grievous just shows up in the movie like everyone is supposed to know who he is. He is the Niki and Paulo of Star Wars.

I think the politics of it would have been interesting if it wasn't pushed to the background. I think even the one scene Anakin and Palapatine had together in ATOC was a reshoot when someone realized they didn't even talk to each other in the movie.

Come on, everyone knows Monopoly is a stupid game that no one likes, that's why they just keep putting out these special editions to float sales

Who would have thought in 1999 that a Mummy movie staring Encino Man would be more fun then Lucas's long awaited Prequel.

Really? Mummy 3 ranks higher then the Mummy Returns? I think Returns still has a good sense of adventure with a great score. I found the 3rd movie comes across more like a big budget direct to video entry that doesn't feel like part of the previous series. Rob Cohen being a shit director doesn't help either. I'd put

As long as you exclude any scenes of people riding CGI beasts

I think the mistake the prequels made was answering a bunch of questions no one cared about and glossed over the meatier stuff.

As interesting as the world is, it's wasted by spending most of the movie in uninteresting apartments and office, with all the interesting stuff seen out the window. Revenge is the worst offender of this.

I like the art direction too, but it did a really bad job of hiding that it was mainly filmed in a studio. The batmobile chase basically takes place around a city block, driving past most of the sets we seen earlier in the movie.

I think the difference with the Leftovers and Lost , is that the Leftovers was mainly focused on the relationships and characters, while Lost was a mystery show with characters in it.

I don't think the race works because the stakes are too low, all of the characters we followed so far get sidelined just watching the race on a tablet. Mix in the goofy announcer and that other wired cartoon alien and it just doesn't have the suspense of other Star Wars set pieces. That being said I do like the

Ah, the movie that seemingly took it's visual inspiration for any number of 90's FMV CD-ROM games.

The 6th Day always bothered me, after Arnold's run with Total Recall, T2 and True Lies, it seemed like a huge step down. I always associated him with these larger then life big budget movies, yet somehow The 6th Day looked a small step above direct to video sci fi.

The poster and premise just made it seem far cooler then it actually was.

I agree, it is an expensive show but Netflix was known as the place that revived old shows, and didn't bend to viewer numbers after 1 or 2 episodes. I think at the very least a 2 hour special to finish up the story could be commissioned.
Binge watching has changed viewing habits and I would hazard that it is difficult

This is the Police version of the McDonald's self serve menu kiosks. Calling it a robocop just makes it sound cooler then it really is.

Ah Encyclopedia Brown, where else could you read a mystery in 5 pages only to find out the answer was some obscure bit of information you couldn't possibly have known.
