So it'll be the DTV Hellboy then?
So it'll be the DTV Hellboy then?
I stopped watching I think in Season 3 when the 1st half slogged through the Peter Pan stuff, I couldn't get into it again after.
I thought Del Torro was directing this?
I always felt like the 1st act was perfect, but the 2nd act seems cut out and we rush in to the finale. The statue of liberty ending could have been unique and visually exciting, but instead , either due to Singers inexperience or the production time/budget cut, it looks unfinished and cheap.
I believe X-men success is due to it being something made by professionals as opposed to every other Marvel production before. That being said, compared to other movies of the same era, the truncated script and production values make it appear cheap.
yeah the Captain America costume had other issue, the did a weird helmet/neck sock combo that didn't really fit. I think it was a last minute change, as all the promo art had a different look.
Next Marvel will be hauling out Sleepwalker or NFL Superpro
I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Publicity shots sometimes look terrible, but much better on film , from time to time.
For awhile, it held the record for the biggest jump in box office between sequels. I think the Spy Who Shagged me made as much in it's first few days as the 1st movie in it's entire run.
I actually had no idea Alien Covenant was coming out so soon.
I think the area that Rogue One excels is the cinematography. The widescreen shots are big ,in a way that many modern blockbusters aren't. TFA looks fine but lacks many iconic shots. TFA also has a bit of a lacklustre 3rd act. Its ok, but I found the x wing battle is kind of blandly shot.
I picked it up when the 1st season streamed on Netflix.
Avengers 4: The adventures of D-Man, Rage, Black Knight and Star Fox
I agree it's consistant but Ultron loses his menace because of it.
I don't disagree, I just don't think it fits with the rest of the movie, I think there might have been better ways to use that time
I don't think Age of Ultron's plot is the problem, most of it has to do with the execution. Whedon is mostly to blame for Ultron's jokey personality. The ending is a bit too repetitive of the 1st movie, aside from that the actors are pretty good, I just think the farmhouse section of the movie could have been excised…
I don't know why someone doesn't start a streaming service for old sitcoms, it's not like the rights are going anywhere with those shows.
I think it's the most Comic-booky, but it feels like Singer is very uncomfortable with that style of movie. If anything it's a greatest hits of previous Singer X-men movies. It's less boring then Superman Returns but suffers from the same lack of visual imagination that plague all of Singers comic book movies.
It's worth checking out, it's a mess of a movie. It's mostly a bunch of barely connected scenes with out an kind of character development or progression.
I'm skeptical a new Xmen movie could really be ready for next November. I'm not sure why fox continuely pushes these out as a rush job.
