My 1st thought was this looks like something on ABC family. Then I realized it wasn't a theatrical release after all.

Poor Mask of Zorro, I think timing was everything for that movie, had it come out in say 1989 it would have been one of the biggest movies of the year. Great summer movie, well acted, fantastic sword fighting, but it got lost between Godzilla and Armageddon.
No it doesn't, it has great car chases though. I found everything non-car related dull.
What no mention of Hard Rain? The movie that I saw trailers embarrassingly the 3 times I saw Titanic.
I never feel engaged in Snyder's movies, Watchmen for me was visual interesting but devoid of engagement in the characters. I feel like I'm watching a slide show of cool comic panels but with no real connect to the characters or vague connections from scene to scene. BvS suffered from the same problem.
What's with this stupid trend of showing a quick preview of a preview ?
I hated Finn's portrayal of the angry outbursts, like a child who's mom was telling him he couldn't buy that toy. The writing was all over the map with this series, I felt like there was no overall plan for the series, in the way that Daredevil came together, it was just a collection of abandoned plot threads.
Is Abby the 50 year old who dresses like a goth chick?
I'm not really familiar with the original struggle with Obama Care, quiet frankly as a Canadian I really don't understand how the US government functions with so many levels to approve things. While it sounds like it would provide checks and balances it would also make it incredibly easy to delay things.
It looks like another Snyder movie. He has a knack for interesting visuals but they rarely flow into anything coherent.
Being from Canada and living with Universal Health Care, I can't understand why America is so resistant to it. Is it perfect, no, elective surgeries can have long wait lists and you still need supplementary insurance to cover things like Dental, Physio and prescriptions. But if I get an extended illness, have a baby…
So Escape from New York will be filmed in front of a green screen with subpar "homemade" CGI. Rodriquez started out making decent movies on low budgets but his later movies come across as lazy.
I can appreciate at that. The serialization did bother me a bit. I don't think the whole Bond's brother thing worked at at all. I just enjoyed the movie being a bit of a throw back to the big set pieces of old Bond. But as much as I enjoyed that part, I think execution was poor.
I liked Spectre to a point, my problem with Spectre is that Sam Mendes' direction is so boring.
Hence my frustrations with the First Class X-men movies, we spent 3 full movies, getting to the point where we should have seen an X-men team.
I think the other issue is that many director's cinematic influence comes from TV and other films. Old school directors took visual inspiration from art, and more diverse areas. La La Land was the last movie I saw that attempted that old school cinematic style.
It's not just the Cinema's fault either. Hollywood seems to have forgotten how to film movies for the big screen. Despite all the CGI and other tech available, many movies , especially big blockbuster, don't like cinematic in a way that many older movies did.
Even better the, kid's cereal cinematic universe. Who wouldn't want to see a movie staring Toucan Sam, Snap Crackle and Pop, along with Tony the tiger and their friends facing off againest the cookie crips robber.
Nice to see 1 million BC get his own spin off
Damn reading this talk back has been needing to find a copy of Executive Descion to watch. Very underrated movie. Too bad Stuart Baird sucked at directing after that movie.
