I think ideally it would have been great if Dogma has been directed by Rodriquez, which is what I think Smith wanted. Smith really needs someone to moderate some of his script ideas.

My issue with Dogma is that it seems like the type of movie that should have a strong visual presentation, instead it's stuck with Smith's crappy no style visuals.

I guess what I mean is Best Actor is generally about how a big transformation, physically or mentally the actor makes where as Best Actress tends to be more about being a strong female performance

I think James Cameron elevates the skills of any cinematographer he works with. Adam Greenberg was never as good as T2, same with Russell Carpenter

I think the 1st Captain America suffers after he rescues Bucky, from Avengers setup syndrome. It seems the movie is in a rush to get Cap in the costume and a block of ice and unfrozen in about 35 minutes.

I don't know if the scripts for both Amazing movies are terrible or if the editing and studio interference is to blame. I think the biggest issue is the inability to decide what to do with Peter's Parents, that entire plot line hamstrung both movies. They never seem to be able to commit to a direction on that plot.

Next to Charlie Brown Christmas this is the Christmas special that has the most heart and lack of cyniscm.

I think competent is the right word. She is not as terrible as last season but she just doesn't have a lot of screen presence.

I didn't mind the concept as much as the low budget execution of it. The trailers promised a big scale fight against the borg only for it to be a bit at the beginning and spending the rest running around the ships corridors or in the woods on earth.

I'm in the boat that First Contact is massively over rated. It's a ok but it's more action movie Star Trek without the budget. It's only a step above a 2 part episode.
