No worries my friend. I'd get all three seasons, because it is such a wonderful hangout series. I don't recall any one season as being better than the others.

William Motherfucking Shakespeare and everyone who follows in his anything-for-an-audience-reaction attitude.

Stephenson's instinct for explanation over character, action, and pretty much every other damn thing has been dominating his recent novels—I quit about halfway through Reamde because of it.

Oh, you mean the part where Neal Stephenson's editor swoops in and says "that'll do, Neal" and Stephenson says "but I have two more timelines to quickly and indifferently summarize plus I read another article aboutchainsthat will be even more interest—" "Neal, you signed a contract. Let go of the manuscript."

Of course, it's his decision.

You're welcome!

I know someone who communicates with TODDDDDDDDD!!!. I'll give him a heads-up about it.

CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN!

No. He was right. He saw it, we didn't. We (certainly I) misjudged the country. No illusions going forward.

He was right. We weren't.

One of the greatest, I don't know, but still my favorite PT Anderson, and if he was less ambitious it wouldn't be as good.

I'm good (my sickness was last week) although exhausted. It happens.

It's like totes different! Except it's not! And then it is! BOOM!

Also: this is fucking stupid from a plot/character point. An issue or two after this scene (and I doubt this team has the creativity to veer away from this), Negan spares Quorl's life, and says "the point is this: I can be reasonable." Negan does horrific shit, but it's key to him that he never does more horrific

"Fuck this, I'm gonna just turn the show over to Ernie Cline."

OMG, and next they're gonna be on Talking Dead saying "see, that was COMPLETELY different from the comics! We killed Glen, but we ALSO killed Abraham! Didn't see that coming, did ya?"

It's not like we didn't warn you.
