In what way has Sansa Stark been shielded from tragic/awful things?
In what way has Sansa Stark been shielded from tragic/awful things?
I've read that, and yeah I was confused by it as well. At first I thought it might be because of those laws I think in the UK that proscribe showing an underaged character being sexual on screen? But I'm unsure if that still applies.
Why even talk to someone that says "rape is part of the game, y'all." They're not worth your oxygen or their own.
Well, there's no denying that after ASOS the material was going to get stale. Any good parts of Feast or Dance have already been used in previous seasons (Jorah killed the Bloodrider in the same manner Barristan did the pit fighter), or they're just removed all together (No Blackfish and Jaime banter!)
Theon's plot somehow managed to become advanced by the time he met Asha without needing to see Sansa be raped in the books. Jeyne Poole had no deep significance to him beyond looking like Arya, so how is that really valid at all?
In what way do you believe "sex crimes" have been left out of A Game of Thrones? Didn't we have an entire house of wildlings being raped not only by their father, but then by the Nights Watch? We saw Dany raped, we saw Cersei raped.
How can anything interesting happen in Dorne?
The best part of Olenna's sass is when Cersei shuts her down and then has her grandson and granddaughter arrested in front of her face. Yeah, that wa sgreat sass.
His accent was much more subtle and it threw me off for like 5 seconds.
I think everyone knew that this episode would be filler, but no one expected it to be as terrible as it was. I could go on and on about how Tyrion and Jorah had to chew scenery for 15 minutes, how the entire Dorne plot is boring, or how I'm supposed to root for Olena and her brat granddaughter after the latter spent…
Are you trolling? Sansa wasn't even in the scene in the book. That was Jeyne Poole, so there's no telling what could happen. For example, Brienne of Tarth wasn't right next door in the book either.
Kurt Sutter is a fucking joke, sorry.
I still can't fathom what her angle is. "I'm just keeping the peace!" by unnecessarily fucking some ruffian murderer that treats you with indifference when you aren't throwing sex at him?
I'd like to apologize in advance to anyone that reads this as the rambling commentary here is the result of pretty much everyone I know abandoning this show (which should have told me that I need to as well), but considering that I forced myself to watch Dexter, Lost, and Sopranos through abyssal final seasons for the…
