The movie is a near-masterpiece. I hit upon it in a Netflix roulette session and it absolutely blew me away. I had never seen anything quite like it.
He gives a great interview. I've never seen project Runway, but Michael Ian Black's conversation with him on the How to Be Amazing Podcast was tremendously enjoyable. He just seems like such a nice guy.
This is good news for people who like bad news.
Oh, yes. I'm partial to "Problem Thinker," especially the queasy keening guitar throughline.
The new record is great, but Travels with Myself and Another is their best, if you're looking to dig further.
This warms my heart. Did something good come out of Good Charlotte?
The new FOTL is so fucking good. The fact that band gets so little attention is absolutely baffling to me. They are the single best punk band of the modern era and contenders for all-time status. Fun, ridiculously smart, funny, and absolutely punishing.
Yeah, when that is your first volley, you've lost the match and any interest I may have right out of the gate. Plus, it's Baldur.
This is the best record ever. Full stop.
If I didn't like The Bone Clocks (thought it was way too decompressed, and the character moments worked far better than the mythology/supernatural bits) but love David Mitchell, would you still recommend Slade House?
"Derbil McDillet" raises them, but it's strongly implied that Lucas is the children's actual father.
You guys are spouting nonsense.
That Josh Lucas didn't become a major star after that performance is one of the biggest disappointments in my moviegoing life.
Undertow isn't just one of the best David Gordon Green movies, it's one of the best movies, period.
