I actually just realized I would've been clueless about the reissues if not for the article. So maybe this is a non story.

Agree to a point. My 9 year old being able to tell you that a public service announcement is made with guitars isn't phony. She loves the song Know Your Rights. That the clash (and Beatles) are relevant today is why we listen to them. I was around and aware of the tail end of the Clash, but wasn't at all for Buddy

I used to hold up 1972 as the peak year for stereo. Give or take a year but definitely post Beatles.

In reference to the rehashed beatlemania marketing of the late 70's, no?

It would of been squarely mid 90s. AND its soundtrack would still be dominating the $2.00 bin at your local used book store.

You're upset that your apple is an orange.

Man, was I ever the target demo for Ten. 19, overly sensitive, and looking for a way out of the 'burbs. Thank you Sound Warehouse.

The bigger question is why were you snacking on over salted cold cuts?

Jay "Keef" Farrar

Twilley don't mind

I don't think there's another musician that loves rock and roll as much as Tweedy. Ill buy AND read this.

I always thought the sad jackass would be the first to go

The Worlds Truest Detective.

I respectfully disagree. New town, new washed out cops, new crime. The show doesn't need more Lovecraft, it needs more Jim Thompson.
