Superb casting, directing and action almost completely spoiled by the score/

No I HATE Eric Serra's score. The fact they had to secretly rescore it and add the Bond theme in the tank chase scene says it all as the moron wasn't going to use it.

Goldeneye would be one of the very, very best were it not for Eric Serra's score which ruins so many scenes for me. Couldn't Tom Arnold have scored this movie.

I have never sen Cops but that's the theme from Cops?! I thought that came from Bad Boys itself and was one of the slight few redeeming features to this movie. Damn.

I love the characters, but the action is boring. The car chase has no excitement to it and none of the scenes in Alcatraz apart from the stand-off in the toilet (Michael Bein's character was an idiot here letting his men be killed like that) had any sense of danger.

The Rock was good despite Bay. It could have been incredible with a different director.

You mean Die Hard 2 is fine right not the first one?

I will watch that one someday. But Bad Boys annoyed me so much it killed interest in the sequel for me.

Bad Boys is one of the worst movies I have seen. I hate it so much. If other people hate it too, excellent, but we aren't a hive mind.

It comes down to the tone of the action. Ronin makes you fist-pump and move to the edge of your seat,nobody is supposed to be cheering on the horrific Normandy landing. It's a war movie not an action film.

It has to be Ronin. Blade good, Mask of Zorro way more awesome than it had any right to be, but Ronin is THE car chase movie.

Yes. The first two Pirate movies are wonderful.

I agree that's it not an action movie, but the explosion thing doesn't really work as there aren't any explosions in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon or most kung fu movies for instance.

We aren't Whedon has produced way too much too excellent stuff for people to hate him. He gave us Buffy, Firefly and Serenity so that alone saves him.

But Con Air is fun full of wonderful over the top characters.

I don't really know what makes you say that. Aside from Johnny 23 I don't think anybody else is anti-woman in the film. The heroes fight for the woman and even the villain hates rapists
