I had no idea Nigel Hawthorne was in Demolition Man until I saw the movie for the first time this week. Blew my mind!

Yeah I have heard Action Movie Anatomy imply Jones shouldn't have got the award. The are wrong. Tommy Lee Jones was phenomenal here.

One of my favourite lines in cinema ever actually.

Or Pizza Hut as in my version.

I read that the screenwriter had a phone call from his friend who was on the toilet and said there wasn't any paper. He asked him if there was anything else there instead and got a reply with "No, just some seashells and… never mind I'll make the seashells work" and that's where the idea came from.

Surely Bay Boys won't beat Desperado, Goldeneye or hell even Heat?

Haha I watched the movie this week and thought it was him! You mean the guard on the train right?

    "I. Don't. Bargain."

Both are awesome and on the fringes of being an action movie. The Fugitive is basically a chase for 2 hours. Kind of actioney.

    1) Empire Strikes Back
    2) Star Wars
    3) Raiders of the Lost Ark
    4) The Fugitive
    5) The Last Crusade
    6) Return of the Jedi
    7) The Temple of Doom

I recently watched Passenger 57, Executive Decision, Air Force One and Con Air in the same day in that order to see which is the best plane hijack movie.

I will never forgive Homer Simpson for that line. Woo's a damn fine director.

Nobody really rates Woo's 90's work aside from the legendary Hard Boiled. Woo fans know his best stuff as in the 80's,

I know your comment is 4 years old but Woo is not overrated. He is known as a director who has directed some of the greatest action movies of all time and one who can direct a shoot-out better than anybody which is both true.

Chow is pretty amazing in Hard Boiled too.

Infernal Affairs or Hard Boiled. I'll give you Hard Boiled but he was great in Infernal.

These articles will likely go between the most important and best. Mad Max Fury Road will clearly be film of that year because it is the best.

Well your comment didn't explain why you think that. Do you not think the gun battles are spectacular?

    Heathers is a perfect movie.

The best action in any movie ever. Second only to Die Hard as the greatest action movie of all time.
