It's supposed to be average. It's not an action movie all so props to Woo for trying something different.

You're wrong.
After your comment I went and watched the fight and honestly found it overly long and slow. The overuse of bullet time bored me. Even the car chase doesn't hold up now either with three slow-motion backflips by Lawrence Fishbourne being tedious.
That was a fantastic remake. It's more horror however.
He hasn't really done anything in HK since going back apart from the Red Cliff and Crossing movies. The Crossing is suppose to be meh, and not an action movie, but Red Cliffs are amazing. Reign of Assassins he part directed and it's great too.
Yes, one guy guys twice in Fat's apartment I think.
Shit I nearly went to HK last month and wanted to go to a teahouse like that.
I hate that he clearly has great movies on the shelf but chooses Bad Boys II?
I think The Raid and the Raid 2 will win 2011 and 2014. Crouching Tiger to get 2000 too.
Makes me wish the stars of the Raid were in Rogue One to fight him rather than be wasted in The Force Awakens. Why did they even bother to cast them in that movie and then do nothing with them?
My exact top 5! Put Aliens after Terminator and it's in the exact order too.
Will do. Got Mad Max to see too, but I want to rush through that one to get to the sequel.
It's the big Woo film I've not seen! I also have Hand of Death with Woo directing Jackie Chan to see too and his recent movie The Crossing though that had bad reviews.
Yeah it was intended to be two movies. In the US it was released as one with half the movie cut out. Here in the UK you can buy a blu-ray boxset with both parts 1 and 2 the way it was intended to be watched, I guess not in the US yet.
Sure did. Such a wonderful little film and his most unique film,
The only part of Reloaded I liked was the amazing car chase.
I need to watch Hot Fuzz again as I didn't love it. Shaun of the Dead is one my favourite movies though.
Face/Off>The Rock> Con Air for me. But I love all 3. However he also has a role in Kick-Ass which if counts is my favourite action movie with Cage in.
The Raid came out in different years to Fury Road. But yeah the Raid 2 is better than Fury Road imo.
Yeah but the Fugitive is a thriller too and also featured someone trying to escape constantly.
