That was a massive moment for me, which finally brought Amethyst up to the level of endearment I have for the other characters. Though that moment belonged to the last episode rather than this one.

Actually for me (I commented above) it was the resolution that was jarring.

I think the review's analysis of the resolution was spot on. It was an attempt at a divorce metaphor, but it made no sense for Steven to blame himself. Perhaps if they established this beforehand — for instance, Steven could have made an offhand comment or question which precipitated their fission. But they didn't,

Rendered perfectly believable by her actually being an alien.

Fantastic episode. I was actually kinda disappointed in the fusion… I think it was a bit over the top and cartoonish, and they should step it down a notch next time. So I started thinking the episode's kinda a let down and a formulaic introduction of a new fusion. But then of course the writers completely pulled the

I love all the characters, and for very different reasons. That's one of the reasons the show's so awesome. Garnet's impossible not to love from the start. Pearl seemed like a bit of a pedant but that was just the surface; the show steadily developed her into a character with a lot of pathos. Amethyst I've been

I hated it, but to each their own.

How do you know that was an alternate history? My interpretation of that Adventure Time episode was that it was showing us how the dinosaurs really died. I don't think the show's supposed to be set in a parallel universe to ours.

    A handsome.

It's entertaining to me to try imagining how this microphone/hammer situation even arose. Were the sound guys also responsible for stage construction?

I wasn't entirely sure what Rose thinks is "how it works"…

Pretty sure "being a pro musician" and "having reservations about dropping your expensive musical equipment on the floor" are not mutually exclusive.

Love the virus design for the kindergarten machines. Turns out from this episode they pretty much function like viruses, injecting their seed into Earth which then sucks up the planet's resources.

I think the shards we saw in this episode are distinct from the corrupted monster gems which Rose tried to heal. But I'm kinda hazy on the whole thing.

The reviewer does seem to have a fairly bizarre way of dishing out scores. An A is supposed to be for a ridiculously, unbeatably good bit of TV. He gave one to the Uncle Grandpa episode. Wat.

Wow… so many people determined to be dicks about this film.

Wasn't a fan of this one. Ronaldo is a good supporting character to have around but he can't carry an entire episode on his own. The jokes were very one-note and they'd already been done by his previous appearances. And yeah, most of them didn't even make much sense because they'd've been edited out by Ronaldo. Garnet

She does seem to have a disinterest in interacting with other humans, but she also seems to be improving in that area. Actually what I was really thinking about though was her relationship with Steven. She's still pretty taciturn with him, although again has been improving over time. I think she's really frustrated by

I was worried too, but then I remembered that Steven's healing powers would be able to fix any serious damage.
