Yes I know - I've read them all. I was presenting an example of a discrete, doable series.

Thanks for reminding me about "Aztec" - way overdue for a reread.

I'm a bit bemused by this too - I loved "Hamilton" and can't stop listening to the soundtrack so I tried listening to "In the Heights" but found most of the stuff sounded exactly the same as in "Hamilton" (except for the addition of Latin rhythms). Hopefully this will give him a chance to stretch.

Geez - this seems to be an extreme reaction to what was obviously a typo.

Yeah, I liked the books but I also found them more "atmospheric" than anything. He weaves wonderful words together in a whimsical way, but then ends up short on plot. I think that's why he (and GRRM) have a hard time finishing their books - they create interesting characters and are great at world building, but then

While I loved Rothfuss' books, I really, really wish someone would produce something based on a great fantasy series from an author that actually finished the series. Specifically: Robin Hobb's Farseer series. It's been a bestseller forever - can't figure out why this hasn't happened already.
