So no one is talking about the opening scene with the ants. I think the ants are supposed to represent the zombies and the food is the people of Alexandria. Then I guess the plate would be Alexandria and the Window would be the walls surrounding the town.

You know, i was thinking something very similar. How hard would it have been to built a stocked safe room in each of the houses? If they could build that wall, they could surely build something in each house.
