Okay, now I'm h-u-n-g-r-y.
Methinks snack-time approaches.

I watch with CC on, too. Yep, it said "squelch". I said "yuck".

Thank you so much. I'm glad you did. And thanks for letting me know that.
I hope your username indicates a special furry someone making you happy in your life. :)

I'm not sure. I'm just assuming that after a supernatural being (whatever Ray Wise was) showed him such a vision he wasn't just sent on his way. Or at least I hope not. I guess we'll find out.

Thanks for the suggestion, but a friend of mine makes bourbon balls and everyone seems to love them but me.
Homemade rum cake though? Oh, yeah. I'm good with that.

Yes. He was abandoned as a half-grown kitten and trying to survive down on a riverbank amidst opossums and muskrats (which wasn't going to end well). A couple of people had tried to get him but he was too terrified of people to let them get close, even with food. A humane trap didn't work, either.
So I went down there

Same here. Those first 15 minutes were tense. Nothing like a tiny kitty to soothe one's jangled nerves. Your avatar pic lends credence to that as it always makes me smile.

Maybe he needed both, not only right then but wherever he was going. Maybe.

Perfect! And they were so cute together…and the kitty was literally saying "mew"…and now I'm, you guessed it, squeeing again.

Weirder still…on the book shelf next to me is a beloved, old out-of-print book on "The Faerie Realm". On that shelf is where my beloved old cat was napping, and in that book is a chapter on (as it spells it) pookas. I love the Disney stuff, but always loved the original lore in both literature and history even more.
Pu

I know the bourbon part, but after that it's zippo all the way. I hate the taste which I guess is the root of the problem.
And I do think I'll check out TBL.
I can remedy one fault but not the other.

Hey, S.
Which of my shameful confessions are you "wow"ing?

A 20 pounder? Pardon me while I squee yet again, and give him a hug for me.

Oh, goody. Looking forward to it!

It was indeed a very GOOD PRECIOUS FLOOFY EMMY-WORTHY ACTOR BABY KITTY OH SQUEE AGAIN and now I've got to wake-up and grab Rio again.

Hallelujah and you read my mind.

As a Kentuckian, I'm ashamed to say I don't know anything about whiskey.

I faced up to it a long time ago.
Now if I could just deal with it….

That's exactly what I thought of, too.
Poitier and Curtis revisited. Grand old flick.

You nailed it. That perfectly describes him.
But however much he lollygags around, he certainly hops to when Varga calls, doesn't he? I guess he's a good employee…devoted and with special skills. But I'm ready to see him make an exit.
