Ha! I actually started to put "unless you're really into cars", but I was thinking more about plot.

And drinking milk.

This is a small thing, but I couldn't help wondering if the citizens of White Pine Bay are ever startled, when at the mortuary, at finding themselves conducting such serious business with what appeared to be a teenaged member of The Addams Family.
I forgot about it then later talked to a friend who thought pretty much

I was afraid Romero would kill the guy out of fear he had recognized him and would call the police. But I couldn't recall if they'd made their search for him public enough for that.
It really did seem like a waste of time, and the only unnecessary part of the episode.

I wonder if "Mr. Sandman" was playing in the background in that scenario.

Ha! I've been fearing I'll hyperventilate next week. Now, that doesn't sound so bad.

Especially after that fairly meaningless (waste of time) conversation with that other guy.

I don't know a '68 from a '98 (well, almost that clueless about cars), but even I thought his car being a Fury was a clever little touch.
I love everyone that works on this show!

NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

I did see it! And it does look cheap, on oh-so-many levels!

True, but I betcha Mary's nowhere near as complex or interesting as Norman.

Just a stray thought here…I know the networks are affiliated, but I wish they'd stop advertising Lifetime crap on A&E, or at least during this quality show. It sort of leaves a bad taste in one's mouth. Like taking a drink of soured milk or wine that's gone flat while enjoying a plate of homemade Lasagna Bolognese.

As a penultimate episode, this did not disappoint. It struck several emotional chords for me.

Someone had the ingenious idea of putting the two side by side for comparison, first the presentation part followed by the acceptance speech. Joan definitely looked more at ease if you watch it all.

I could handle a couple of weeks in that spot…or months. And I'd even hope the goats were still around. Watching them frolic and climb around would just be an added bonus.

Oh, dear.
I'm a film buff, but somehow I've never seen Lady in a Cage. Or, after seeing that trailer maybe I should say I've somehow managed to escape it.
And I don't just mean Olivia's performance but all those other characters. Talk about trying too hard.

Regarding the Jeopardy sketch, was I the only one having Festrunk Brothers flashbacks brought on by Harry Styles-as-Jagger's body movements?
I was? Okay.

Perfect!

Sounds like you were wise beyond your years to steer clear!!!

Sounds like you needed some Manwich!
