Yeah, but if you keep making out with your glasses on next thing you know the guy accidentally breaks off one of the side ear-pieces and you have to rush out and buy new glasses…been there, done that.

I think he is basically a good guy. A little dense sometimes about his love-life (just kidding, that doesn't make him good or bad, just a little challenged in that regard), but basically decent.

Quick! Rub your thumb and forefinger together and focus!

Yes! I named her for that Asta, specifically from the old "Thin Man" films. She wasn't a wire-haired terrier, but she was a terrier mix, and bigger than that Asta (about 45 lbs), also full of personality.

I'm not familiar with kvass, but I'm going to take your word for what it tastes like.

What threw me was he said "cola". I'm familiar with some fermented beverages, being from the land of Kentucky Bourbon (although I hate it, don't tell anybody). But cola…bread..grain?. And now confused by the rest of that (something something hate LL something I'm wearing an ankle bracelet right now). But thanks for

There are carob dog treats, and I wonder if most dogs like them. I once bought some for my Asta, but she turned her nose up at them. However, she seemed to think she was a cat and was super finicky about everything edible. So I still don't know if dogs like those carob treats.

"Cola made from bread."
I'm still wondering if I heard that right.
Erp. And ewww.

You know that expression "the tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife"? I think it applies to this episode, figuratively and literally.

I'd like to think Marion drove all the way to Acapulco (where one could live comfortably on that money for a looong time), never had to work for a jerk again, avoided lying bastards like Sam from then on, and to this day spends her afternoons on the beach with good friends and a pitcher of margaritas….and occasionally

I've always loved Roy Orbison's "Crying."
I guess I'll never hear it quite the same way again.
Gee, thanks, Bates Motel! :/

I think I saw part of it long ago, maybe didn't get to finish it for some reason. I remember it getting good reviews. I probably need to add it to my Netflix queue.
I've loved Tony Shaloub since Wings…his Antonio was such a sweetheart. I also loved him as Monk. Both characters touched my heart.
And oh, yes, I am a

Blutbaden hugs are the best kind, right up there with bear hugs (I would assume)!
I'm sorry your schedule conflicts with the show, but I'm glad you play catch-up and then drop in on the comments. I'm also glad you liked my comment and I really got a kick out of yours. "A great funny hang out show"…that's a good

He's so biting in this. Contrast that with his tenderness as Julia Child's husband. Talk about range!
If Tucci's name is on it, I'm there.

I only watched the first episode of Legion, just didn't get into it. But I love The Americans, and I'm champing at the bit for Fargo to get going. And I'm enjoying luxuriating in this show in the meantime. TV just doesn't get any better than this.

It didn't dawn on me till after watching this episode that he played Stumpy in "Carnivale"!!! I guess it took me a while because seeing him as Sinatra was so different from Stumpy the carny/hootchie-cootchie show proprietor.
I watched that series just last summer after several fellow AV Clubbers recommended it (it

Oh. Oh. Oh.
That STILL hurts.

I admit to complete ignorance about Jessica Jones and everyone involved.

Thank you so much for such a sweet and thoughtful message. I appreciate the kind words, especially coming from someone who's just been through the same thing. So let me extend the same heartfelt sympathies to you.
I really appreciate you taking the time to share your feelings. It helps.

Thank you so much. It is indeed. But it truly helps when someone kind like you is able to relate and be sympathetic.
It means a lot.
