That's kind of my point. Glen has more important things to do than go through the whole speech again. It didn't work the first time. He tried, now help Maggie and his friends. Enid's basically dead weight. He's letting her hold him back from his first priorities.

I think Glenn felt the need to repeat himself because when they arrived at Alexandria's perimeter, Gloomy Gus was balking and whining yet again…and right when they should be trying to think of a way to help.
He has more patience than I would.

Perfect.

I couldn't help wondering what kind of mother doesn't notice her kid going slowly nuts in his room, not eating, getting increasingly pasty-faced and hollow-eyed?
And what kind of mother gives her kid that haircut???

Was this really the time for Glenn to be giving Enid yet another pep talk?

"Lock-pickin' is within my skillset."
So is making us laugh, Eugene.

It bugged me for hours…where had I heard that? Then it dawned on me (I think). Isn't that from "No County For Old Men"?

I didn't think of that. I was thinking aliens instead of Egyptian when I saw the symbols. But I would be tickled if they threw Bast into the story!

I envy you! I had plans to go to a Tull concert once but had to change my plans. Always regretted it. I've seen a lot of great artists, especially when I was a kid (including Zeppelin), but missed out on Tull.

True. But the boss got where he is by being wily. After the sudden disappearance of the Undertaker and his assistants, he might be suspicious and especially wary.

I don't know. I kept getting distracted by Rick-from-Buffalo's uh…sense of style and keen intellect.

True. Simone's ongoing bad behavior was a product of being born into that family, and she really never had much of a chance. What most of us suspected about her father was confirmed in this episode.
Playing with fire is all she knew how to do. She'd been burned her whole life.

No pithy quotes when he's talking to the boss. Wonder if we'll get to see how he acts in his presence.

This show is pure magic, I tell ya.
Pure magic.
Abracadabra AND shazam.

I'm glad you did.
I blame it on insomnia and lack of sleep (was up all night last night, got 3 hours sleep today).
I'm usually a liiiitle sharper than that.

I guess from now on when we think of her, we'll be living in the past and thinking of songs from the woods.
It's a shame she couldn't have skated away (on the thin ice of a new day).

From the moment Bear got Simone into the car, all I could think about was poor Adriana and that long drive out to the woods with Syl.

To be such a badass, he's veeery afraid of his boss. And with good reason.

Just another little perfect touch.
In the elevator, when Simone rearranged Gibson's privates, I noticed how much she resembles Jean Smart. She looks like she could actually be related. Hadn't really noticed that before.
