Thank you sincerely for my heartiest laugh of the day.
When watching AHS, just do what I do, for your own protection. Keep the remote handy (right in your hand even), and if that thing or something nearly as bad rears its ugly head again, hit the "previous" button immediately. Take a few moments respite. Breathe.

Ha! I've complained about her eyebrows (or lack thereof) every week. I was glad to see the flashback to 1926 just because there were brows. That was the year Valentino died. Judging from films and photos of the period, everyone had eyebrows.
I agree about the morphing accent, and that the less she says, the better. I

We continue to think alike. I watched half an episode of SQ. That was enough of that.
Mr. Murphy is talented, but I think by being given free rein to do whatever he wants he's run off the rails, and now runs the risk of being looked at as over-rated. Reminds me a little of Quentin Tarantino. Someone with talent and a

If I were a gay man (I'm a straight woman, but I'm using my imagination here), I would be extremely upset at Gaga crawling all over me…just no. But the Countess doesn't seem willing to take no for an answer. I'd try, anyway.
And of course she's Liz's friend and what..mentor? Liberator? But with friends like that, who

Angela Bassett's doing too much "mouth-acting" anyway (and I usually like her). She's over-acting just as much as Gaga's under-acting. O'Hare, however, is juuuust right.

THAT image is the one that has stayed with me, too. More than the horrendous violence or too-graphic sex scenes (or worse, when they combine the two), nudity, or any scene with Gaga. Just La Liz, swanning down the hall.

Agreed! I'd like to listen in on one of their planning sessions. Or better yet, be allowed to participate.

No problemo, Bryce. AHS itself is confusing. I guess the thread might as well be so, too!

I do watch the show. That's why I'm commenting. I am sometimes entertained, sometimes bored, sometimes repulsed, sometimes amused…usually all in the course of a single episode.
As for Gaga, I said elsewhere on this thread that I like her music, she's extremely talented. But she's obviously out of her depth in the

Sarah Paulsen, yes. "Drilldo Dan", no!!!
Never again do I want to see that. Never ever.
Ever.
Nope.

I thought so, too (Cleopatra is one of my favorite old films). Wonder if that's deliberate. Must be, considering her name.
Btw, like your avatar.

Speaking of weird, funny and stylish…I really liked Liz's teal green ensemble with the matching eyeshadow. And the black dress was really quite elegant.

Good points. But I don't think they're worried about the sex being gratuitous. They're not even worried about sexual violence being gratuitous. It's just bad writing.

I was enjoying that line, too…until Gaga said "betrayal". Then I wanted to talk out loud to the tv (or to The Countess or the writers) and point out that betrayal is not an emotion. It's an act that causes various emotions. But then I reminded myself there are plenty of other things to quibble about on this show.
It

Anyone else tired of seeing Gaga stick her stilettoed finger in her mouth?
Even in the previews!

Hormones maybe?

No matter how old that man gets, his voice still sends a little shiver up my spine (even those truck commercials).

It's an old story, but this time they have so many to choose from!

Another good example. So sad and such a loss.
