True. Will has usually been presented (in the books and film versions) as more stable, although constantly wrestling with his horrific "gift" of being able to think like a serial killer. The character's a little more relatable that way, I guess.
The main way I'm able to relate to this Will is his love of animals. When

Oops. Forgot about that! Just one more reason Will's attachment is so weird.

We're birds of a feather. I don't usually watch horror movies, either…not since gore became more important than actual scares and real suspense. And I've really wrestled with myself over Hannibal, but it has too much going for it to give up at this point.

Genitalia Psychadelia.
Taking "artsy-fartsy" to a new extreme.

It was so trippy they could've set it to "Ina Gada Da Vida"…which is a good example of 60's psychadelia.

I feel like I need a shower after every scene he's in.

Haunted, tormented Will. The most natural, normal looking smile he's ever smiled was when he first sat down on the bench next to Hannibal…the monstrous murderer who'd previously plunged a knife into his stomach (up close & personal). That's really…abnormal.

Does anyone else feel like watching this show is sort of like having a fever dream? One that you're not entirely sure you're ready to wake up from?
I almost gave up on it a couple of times in previous seasons…when it seemed to be just a series of horrific murder vignettes/tableaus. But I'm glad I hung in there for

Yes, we were cringeing at the same moment. Of course I was cringeing, anyway…but that just added to the overall level of discomfort.

Probably just as well I missed that! Thanks for the reply.

I'm one of those, too. Sometimes it's fun…sometimes I annoy myself.

I don't know why I had to throw that in…guess it comes from being a woman with a medical background wherein I had to know my medical terminology. Wasn't trying to be picky, it just occurred to me.

I know! Me, neither! However, I just pictured the writers sitting around a table having big fun thinking of lines to gross us out…

It must've been in S2 when I had a couple of weak moments and almost gave up on this show…and missed an episode or two. Thank you for the information. I think I'm ready for some total revenge craziness! Oh, and I'm constantly amazed at what they're getting away with.

I don't know how on earth l missed that, but I did. Thanks for the info!

OKAY…it's 17 hours later and my skin is still crawling from hearing Verger ask his sister if she's "stumbled across any viable uteruses lately" and the rest of that conversation. (Besides, it should be "uteri") His usual puerile sleaziness is disturbing enough (more so than any disfigurement)…but he keeps topping

Kind of gives new meaning to "the girl with kaleidoscope eyes", doesn't it?

Happy Independence Day up there where it was actually declared!
Hope things are better, weather-wise. It's rainy here…can't even make sun tea!

aHA! I knew I wasn't the only one! And I get your reference…made me laugh out loud…..snapped a garter…

I don't stream Netflix or other sources yet. I do the Netflix DVD-by-mail thing, and was going to add it to my queue but it's not available that way yet. Drat. But I'll keep checking.
