Oh, behave! I guess I set myself up for that one….but I'm so lady-like I didn't even realize I was doing so. Made me laugh, though.

True, but I'm impressed with both characters. Despite Bud's natural timidity he's so willing to help in any way he can and that's so endearing. And I love the way Wu has wholeheartedly embraced this strange new world and become a full-fledged member of Nick's scooby gang, after having been so fearful for so long. I…
I somehow missed that. Thanks!
…and even that (a mouse) would probably cause him to faint dead away (before he could even raise his bat)!
As much as I really liked this episode, I have a little quibble with one scene. When Nick shot Renard (multiple times) and then we found out they were rubber bullets (and I'm glad they were), would Nick have really hesitated that long? Rosalee was being threatened, Monroe was yelling "Shoot him!", Nick was saying…
I didn't even notice that…it was just so quick and smooth and…kind of exhilarating. Made me want to go out and save somebody.
Yeah, this episode required Wu to do more yelling and pleading than quipping. But, did you notice when they freed him from the back of the car he hit the ground running, ahead of Nick and Hank, in the lead to get to Renard and stop him. I'm so glad they finally told him everything and included him, because until they…
Shhh…don't give them any ideas!
Speaking of Lorne, see my other comments concerning him. We're both fans.
They'd better not touch a hair on his furry little face!
…and she would be a lovely shade of Kelly green.
I especially liked that little exchange between Bud and Hank….
"I don't know how you guys do it! "
"Well, we don't use bats."
Such a real loss. You know, Angel was his first (and only real) acting job, and he passed away not long after it ended. He was terrific as Lorne and a real asset to the show. Just imagine what else he might have done had he lived. By all accounts he was a really nice guy, too. Every year around Halloween I rewatch…
Me, too. For me, that was one of Angel's charms…the way the tone of the story lines (and the characters) would shift and go in directions you didn't expect. They would go darker…and darker…then throw in some outrageous humor to keep you delightfully off balance. Or during a more light-hearted story arc have moments of…
Any reference to "Angel" gladdens my heart and saddens me at the same time…. (heavy sigh).
I liked "I am Legend " a lot, too. But I think it's probably better for having Will. It was a more serious than usual role for him and he did a better job with the sad and poignant scenes (of which there were several) than Arnold would have. It wasn't your typical zombie movie, which is why I liked it and why I'm…
20/20 (or 60 Minutes, some reputable show) once did a story on his life and accomplishments since he immigrated here as a young man to start anew, and despite his obvious shortcomings it's pretty impressive. Fame, fortune, success in two difficult fields (politics and the entertainment industry)..it all took a lot of…
I saw the trailer for the first time only yesterday, and did a double-take. I want to see it for the sheer novelty of seeing Schwarzenegger in a serious dramatic role. I don't expect it to be Oscar worthy, but perhaps a genuinely poignant story…which is more to my liking than the usual zombie gore-fest.
Yeah, me too….but you've got to admit, some of them are pretty darned good.
Thank you so much. I needed a good laugh!
I've seen the same type thing. My best friend that I grew up with moved here to Kentucky from Massachusetts when she was in 3rd grade and lived here until after we graduated from high school, when she moved back to MA. She spent several years there but has since lived in Florida, then West Virginia. Whenever she's "up…
