well, I liked it a lot. I thought it was a fun experiment.

I know I'm not the only one who thought this, but earlier this year the movie Everest came out, and I could not help but wish it was the Movie of the Story of Everest. That would have been so much better.

a quick survey of friends shows this episode was pointless. Because other than Jon Snow no one gave a shit about anyone in the battle; and everyone would rather have Jon Snow's boring ass die rather than have to endure any more scenes from the wall with people who we have no emotional attachment to.

absolutely, that sight was amazing. It was like nothing I could have imagined: crater after crater after crater. And the inside of the bunkers torched by flame throwers also unbelievable.

So I went to Normandy for the first time last September and was amazed by how different it was from my expectations. I've seen many D-Day focused movies. The Longest Day has been a favorite since I was a kid, and I've seen Band of Brothers probably 4 times in it's entirety. But the one thing they never get across

just want to say it's too bad Hall had to die. As he ended up being great as Moriarity in Sherlock.
