If this happened down here in Oz, the little buggers would be selling like hotcakes. We would collectively write off any complainant as a wowser. The little sods already hear worse in the schoolyard. Must have been a slow news day.

Anyone got a Kleenex? Cinephile porn. This never gets old.
Thanks for the synergy A.V. Club.

"Tell me of your homeworld Usul."
"I can see it! I can see it!"
Nice.
What might have been?

Is it too late to recast Diana? Laura Prepon glowers much more effectively and would kick both these boy's arses. While being a very smokin' Amazonian.

Fanboys & Girls curled up in the corner of the room, rocking back and forth.
"Please, don't Suck!" "Please, don't Suck!" "Please, don't Suck!"……

I wouldn't call a spotty, greasy haired sixteen year old kid pushing a start programme list button on a DCP server a projectionist. I'd still shake his or her hand though. Wrong I know, but I smiled.

"Steed!" "Say it ain't so?"
That wonderful voice. The twinkle in the eye. Professionalism and commitment to the part, regardless of the cheese factor.
A charming, open, warm salute to British decency. A tip of the hat to you Sir.

Damn. I real hope, against reason that this is not true. Mr Horner's work has thrilled and moved me in equal measure. I own copies of the three scores you mentioned and many others. What a great talent and judging by the interviews I saw and read, a decent guy. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Bless

The O.C. & Grey's Anatomy? More a Muzak Supervisor I think. Was Karyn Rachtman unavailable?

I'm not sure it's a particularly clever idea to be in a room with Sir Christopher and weapons. Be very respectful with those questions.

The Lord of Awesome has spoken.

Yes!
Onya Quentin. Looking forward to it.

A brilliant, witty performer who brought so many characters to life. He was wonderful in his iconic role of Fagin. A problematic character who he imbued with humanity and charm. His lines were often quoted in our household. Take a well deserved bow Sir. Thankyou.
My condolences to his loved ones.

Absa-Fricking-lutley!
By the way, Have you seen my lute?

Blasphemer!

I see Saint Peter and a certain all powerful, pan-dimensional being kneeling with heads bowed in front of the shaking gates of heaven, "We are not worthy, we are not worthy!"
What presence. What a voice. Thankyou, oh magnificent one for sharing your divine talent with us lowly scum. I kiss the hem of your cloak Great

Not so much. With new DVD players as low as $29.99 AUD , secondhand players for $10 or $15 and plenty of secondhand discs selling in a variety of op shops selling movies for as low as $1.99 AUD. Physical media is a much cheaper option for struggling families here in Australia and I suspect elsewhere.

No worries. I do tend to waffle a bit. Probably could have just said Studio greed and desire for content control. i.e. The shift to online streaming.

Generally yes. Unlike DVD's ten codes, 0-9. Blu-ray only has three codes, A,B and C.
There is no 0 code, therefore you leave the machine set to A for BD and 0 for DVD. Many Aussie and U.K. Blu-rays are either A&B,A,B&C or region free. You'll be prompted by the region code message if there is a mismatch. Change the

Region coding, along with anti-piracy encryption was put in the DVD and later Blu-ray spec, at the insistence of the major Hollywood Studios. It was created to support the Studio's release windows. In Yee olde days Studios might create as many as 1500 35mm film prints for a major release. If successful the film might
