Firstly, thankyou Alisdair for your incisive reviews. Your thoughtful deconstruction and analysis of this season is greatly appreciated. Right, now on a superficial note. Phwoar! Jenna Coleman steps out of the Tardis and suddenly all the dialogue appears to be blah, blah, blah. The 20s being my favourite period in

May I join the long line of people, "Losing Their Shit!" over this great news?
Yeah, I know. There is a high probability that it might be a real stinky pile of….
But today I am giddy!

Sod it! Can't wait for The Caretaker review.
Peter Capaldi Rocks! Once again Gareth Roberts hits it out of the park and yes, the Skovox Bltzer is supposed to be naff. Anything with that name would have to be.
So many nods, references, I've got whiplash.
More please Sir.

Exactly. Shelley Godfrey is not Caprica Six. That is made clear in the episode.

They gender swapped the charismatic lead character? Apollo aka
Richard Hatch was the lead. Dirk Benedict was the charismatic
sup……., Oh, yeah, point taken.

What a dick! Guys talking about cars, sports etc just as boring. Ninety nine percent of english language (See? I'm not just blaming Americans) film and tv is male focused narritives. Female centric stories account for "Bugger All!' (Technical language). Bless, his gender stereotypical soul seems to be living in the

It's a fair cop G'uvnor!
They pay you for this? Why you jammy…….

That is one of the most obvious problems in doing a heist story. They are as much dependent on pacing as they are on misdirection and witty banter. This format was a poor choice for a 45 minute or 47 minute running time. so much for taking things slower. Allowing the characters, story and audience to breathe. I'm glad

He is actual back working with Tom Baker and Louise Jameson at Big Finish. They have just released a box set of fourth Doctor stories.

Hey, back off! I like a bit of Michael Kitchen's quiet, methodical, moral tsk tsking. Not in a hospice yet.
"I don't know Gladys, these young whippersnappers today?"

Can I have some of what you're smoking? This was a dog of an episode.
A completely hamfisted clanger. The great and gorgeous Keeley Hawes was completely wasted. The Doctor took far to long to figure out who the Architect was. That dodgy voice, then the shot of the cloaked face. surely it was obvious? And the Doctor

Did he like the extended version of Aliens?
And is it to much to chill the Frak out and watch a narritive focused on the female point of view? It's a human point of view. How can you not relate? Give him a good slap. Violence always works.

I hear what you are saying, but I'm loathed to reactivate my Gaydar as it seems to be a fictional empathic power that stuffs up and gets me into trouble. Poor Gaeta really was a bit of a cypher. I don't really remember him getting any of anything. Just trying to do his duty and be a stand up guy. Only to lose his leg

Thanks for clarifying your position.
We appear to be on the same page regarding Zak and Kara's relationship. Your initial comment appeared to me to be disparaging of Queer relationships. I accept that, that is not what you meant. Having Starbuck be a bisexual or lesbian character would certainly have worked. Although

Hetero relationships are "normal and safe"?
Not mine. Am I doing something wrong?
I do think the reviewer is pushing an agenda in regards to the Zak/Kara relationship, but that is her right. I think my queer friends think of their relationships as pretty normal and safe, just not boring, never boring.

You don't feel the Cottle LOVE? Why do you have a cold, dead, shrunken heart?
We're done here.

Thanks for the response.
Yeah, you are right about the shoe horning the opera house visions. Hey look, Hera is leading through them through the halls of the opera.., um Galactica…, house. I went along with that, but I have to admit it did feel a bit like a checklist being ticked off.
If I have a problem with BG's finale

How did you get a hold of my personal bio?

Love the Zoemeister.
Merritt Weaver is brilliantly wacky but the show was set up with Eve, lovely Eve, as Jackie's Bud. Every show needs a stereotypically posh pommy bird with a drinking problem and a heart of gold underneath the British reserve. And the lady rocked those heels.
Ok sorry, my Doctor says I share to much.

Thanks for the response.
I can see that if characters you have been emotionally invested in, seem to just do a 360 degree moral/psychological turnabout that is going to lose you. In my opinion i do not think this was a show of heroes. Everyone was a flawed creation and the creation of a artificial intelligence and
