Does it bother anyone else when media outlets refer to actors by their most well known role? It ticked me off last week when AV Club had a headline like, "Here's Tywin Lannister narrating blah blah." I think it's a principle of respect to the actor or actress, to refer to them by their given name and not Elaine Benes…

The Ben Bernanke thing was a big eye-roll for me. "Get our guy at the Fed" would have packed just as much punch with none of the hoke.
