It was nice to see another nod to one of David Lynch's favorite films (SUNSET BLVD) in last night's episode - the name of the bar Diane was in ("Max Von" was a not too subtle reference to "Erich Von Stroheim" who played "Max" in the film). In the original series, there were plenty of nods to this Billy Wilder classic…

I didn't think it was harsh at all - that line was sloppy and did make it seem like it hadn't been watched. I was glad to see that wasn't the only one who dismissed the rest of the review as a hatchet job.
