Apu is an interesting case. He is voiced by a white actor doing a really broad, stereotypical Indian accent, but at the same time, he has evolved into an interesting, well rounded character that is much more then a one note stereotype.
That's a tricky one to unpack.

ACTING!!

I think my eyes just rolled straight out my head reading some of those quotes. What a pretentious twat waffle.

After trying to find humour in all the terrible excess of federal and international politics, day in day out, for years, I'd say Jon Stewart is doing the right thing taking it easy for the next few years in order to take care of his family and animals.

I'm trying to imagine poor Mr. Trudeau having to regularly deal with some of the folks running for POTUS if they actually won and I can't even.

Yeah but we deal with terrible, seven-eight month long winters.

Yeah, it's nice when mainstream movies and TV actually acknowledge that interracial relationships exist.

That is also true. So, seeing that David Tennant is both of those, we should buckle in and prepare for mega lust.

If this show is even half as good as Daredevil, then we're in for something fantastic.
Also, I've always thought that David Tennant played dark and creepy incredibly well and this proves it.

They demand their seniors discount!

I miss Forgotbusters.

It does have that very florid, overdone prose that you often see in fanfic sex scenes.

So many A's, R's, and P's in that sentence.

I think it's pronounced like eye-in.

The sort of fanatical free for all attitude that exists in parts of American gun culture is frankly terrifying to me.

Our First Past The Post electoral system (which basically means the first party to get a 170 seats in Parliament wins a majority and it's leader becomes Prime Minister) is an absolute mess that needs to be reformed badly.

;)

Well that's up to you.

(cut to Mike writhing in agony)
