If that ever comes to pass (and FSM-willing, it will) what do you think the trumptweets will be in the wee hours of the morning after the hearings air?

Shouldn't "Wolfsbane" be fighting wolves?

Neither I nor the Urban Dictionary knows what "Barely Boy" means but I suggest you don't Google it from work.

Here's some Newsmax comments from the article on the last Quinnipiac poll:

"It sounds exactly like this when I'm choking a dog!"

The funny thing is you don't even have to set out to write a hit piece. There are no positives to him as a president or a human being, so it's all going to come off like you're going after him.

On the plus side, maybe it will get him to stop watching television altogether. It's, like, the only thing that matters to him.

Charles Pierce's politics blog on Esquire.com is excellent, with plenty of links to excellent reporting. The other sites in my usual orbit are the WaPost, NYT, Guardian and the Lawyers, Guns, and Money blog.

I think the second one is significantly better. It's unfettered from origin story obligations, that worthless handler character is eliminated, the villain is way more interesting, and it has the Troll Market sequence. It's too bad it didn't retain the audience the first one had.

You're right. And the Yeog-Zhang fight is the highlight of the movie. But I'd argue that that fight is great because it's more grounded. As soon as you start walking on water you lose me.

That's actually one of the things I like about it. The gunfights have consequences even though the movie is played goofy. So many similar movies would've shied away from killing the guards to keep you on the protagonists' side. It's also a completely fearless villain turn by Costner, he kills SO many people.

All "wuxia" really means is that it's inspired by Chinese history. The wire-fu aspect is different. I'm just saying that I think it's been done better. It's a taste preference, but the CTHD fights have no stakes, IMHO.

Just as long as we agree!

Just a rehash of Return of the Jedi with Leia in the Mon Mothma role.

I don't know if Black Hawk Down counts because it's a war film, but it has some amazing firefights.

At the risk of sounding obtuse, this movie has never really resonated with me. It's undeniably beautiful and the three stars are charismatic as hell but the fight scenes just don't work.

Yeah, that opening explosion is great. It also has a pretty good "bus hanging from a helicopter" but at the end.

The mob keeps them out. Cousin Tony's sandwich place has to keep its monopoly.

Out of curiosity, who would you say is the hottest guy in Troy? Excepting Brian Cox, because obviously.

Most of them call him by whatever character's name he's going by that year.
