The House two-parter with Wilson's love interest was fucking amazing.
The House two-parter with Wilson's love interest was fucking amazing.
It's straight from the original story. I dunno, admittedly even as a cop my first though wouldn't be "He's clearly hiding a priceless pearl in a plaster bust of a former prime minister".
I have to say, it was quite nice of that agent who explicitly said more than once that he didn't care if he died or not as long as he killed Mary not to kill Mary.
John's "I'm a better man than you give me credit for" line is taken word for word from "The Yellow Face" as well.
Also, I was unreasonably happy to see Toby the dog show up. Toby! Yes!
And the thing is, when she was originally introduced, she could have actually lasted for a long time. It was only after the secret agent thing that she became an unworkable character.
Okay, I'm going to defend John's anger at Sherlock here, or at least defend the writers' decision to have him be angry:
Who said you need to think they executed it well? I thought it worked fine, but eh, I can understand people disagreeing.
I'm amazed more of you aren't seeing the narrative perspective here. Mary HAD to go. She was too big of a character. Either you want the show to be about John and Sherlock, or you want it to be about Secret! Agent! Mary! and Sherlock. Her skills and abilities were simply too useful, her backstory simply too dangerous,…
The ballsiest thing P and R ever did was oust Leslie from office.
What? That was one of the sitcomy-est sitcoms to ever sitcom. That it was an Office style sitcom as opposed to a laugh track style sitcom doesn't change that.
Conroy again, huh? And Hamill too?
I thought one of the ballsiest things they ever did was kick Leslie out of office in season 6. It was such a huge departure from the general upward trajectory from the series and it added an edge back to the show that it desperately needed.
Even so.
So? It's a TV show that's tackling this topic. If so, it should do a good job; if not, it's bad writing.
I mean, I hope the show takes into account how monumental this is for Doug especially. He's a Catholic Priest, right? Then not only is he giving up the Priesthood, by dating a divorced woman he's ALSO betraying the Church's moral teachings. Like, you can leave the Priesthood in theory, but you can't date someone who's…
That's because nothing Negan does makes any sense at all.
Is it me, or is Negan maybe sort of a mean guy?
Man, that costume is so freaking vintage. I love it.
Yeah, but…but…WEB WINGS!!!!
