This is a poster about a mutant supervillain choking a mutant superhero, not 50 counts of rape.

If it's not shared, we don't actually know if it's their opinion.
I know why people would get upset. I also don't think the studio should pull the ad if its doing its job of getting viewers.
But it was never an issue until a C-list celebrity made a stink out of it on behalf of people who haven't actually said anything themselves.
No, not really. I would think it a weird image, and perhaps a crappy ad, but I would have no problem with it.
You mean what appears to be an alien choking an alien in the costume she's appeared in every movie in the franchise thus far.
I know I'm not. That's my point.
This ironically in the comments of an article about Fox taking down a movie billboard because people somewhere might have a problem with the image.
In all seriousness, why does "that one asshole" keep showing up in the articles you read? Obviously you're completely dismissive of any of my feelings, which is your right, but I'm here and not going away because most of the comments section disagrees with me. You gotta get used to me, or leave, because I'm not.
But clearly this is all in my head! Nobody insulting people with differing opinions here!
I get the other perspectives. I don't agree with them, and have stated why.
Have you stopped to consider why you see this every time you read a long article on a controversial issue?
In other words, no, the outrage isn't coming from the people who actually might have a reason for the poster to bother them.
So now you're telling me that you think that if a child sees a male alien attacking a female alien they'll believe it's okay to strangle people?
Yes, because clearly when both people are blue and one looks like an alien that's exactly the same as a billboard of a normal man putting something in a normal woman's drink, and the image is just as action packed, and creates an eye-catching image.
One thing has become very clear: If you disagree with Mcgowan and Fox's decision to remove the poster, you don't have a valid alternate opinion but are, in fact, a bad person, a misogynist, lack empathy towards women who are assaulted, are an idiot, are part of the problem with the world, and why don't you just shut…
Seriously though, who are these "lot of people" complaining?
Hold on. You're a woman. You're not supposed to exist. That makes you a traitor.
Don't worry, you can stop responding to me if you want. Everybody here already knows that you're Not One Of Us (TM), so they can associate with you.
That is exactly the problem; some people, sometimes for contradictory reasons (which are all, of course, equally valid), don't like that this ad exists. Therefore, we should tear it down completely.
